Readability is key for sites with a lot of text. One condition for readability is a comfortable text-length per line.

When a line of text is too long the eyes will have a hard time finding the beginning of the next line. When a line is too short the eye will have to travel back too often, breaking the reading rhythm.

For long content blocks, design the length of text to 50–75 characters per line (including spaces).
