Making Text Hard to Read
Text is a crucial part of all user interfaces. There are a few basics that we can easily apply to increase readability and therefore usability.
Take this action
Make sure the text color has enough contrast to the background
Design links to stand out
Use same text sizes, differentiate with contrast and font weight
Use a line-height of 1.4-1.6 times the font size for copy and 1–1.2 times the font size for headlines
Show 50–75 characters per line, including spaces
